Trip to Westport, Co. Mayo:

Following on from the very enjoyable trip to Foxford, Co. Mayo a few years back, challenge matches for our Senior Ladies & Men have been arranged for Saturday 27th / Sunday 28th August in Westport. A bus will be leaving the Club Rooms at 9am on Saturday morning and coming back at about 10pm Sunday night - Monday 29th August is a bank holiday. Cost of the trip is not yet known but will update later. However, Hotel arrangements etc have to be made now. Put the dates in your diary & confirm with any committee member as soon as possible of your intention to go.


Friends of the Cancer Centre, Charity Night:

FAO: Ex QUB GAA members - Gerry Moore is under taking a 120km trek along 'El camino de Santiago de Compostela', and has organised a Fundraising Disco to be held in the Eglantine Inn, Malone Road, Belfast.

Friday May 13th, 7.45pm start. Dress Code is Formal & Tickets are available at £20 (£15 direct to charity!).

Kilmore Walking Club:

Kilmore Walking Club continues to meet at Ballyhegan Park, every Thursday 7pm — 9pm & on Friday Mornings 11.30am — 12.30pm, for a 6 week pilot. Spread the word!

We’re down to the last 16 competitors & onto the U21 football & senior Hurling finals! Don’t forget to inform your promoter of your next team choice.

Div 1 Hurling Final: Dublin V Kilkenny (Sunday)

Div 2 Hurling Final: Clare v Limerick (Saturday)

U-21 Championship Final: Cavan v Galway (Sunday)

DVDs are available from the Walk The Line fashion show — costing £5. Please contact any of the organisers. 


Club Gear:

The GAA Store are now stocking the club jersey along with a full range of leisurewear which includes soft shell jacket, hooded top, shorts & socks. These are available in store and online at the link below:


Seat For Life:

To help finance the development of the Athletic Grounds, a scheme whereby the general public can buy a “Seat For Life” has been launched. The bonus for our club, is that we will receive £25 from each seat sold. For more information see the MyArmagh website:

Our Senior Men play their first home game of the season this Sunday at home to Crossmaglen II, throw-in 2pm.
