Youth Club

Would any person who wishes to be involved in running the summer scheme and / or youth club schemes this year please get in contact with Joe McKeever or Paul Doherty so that the relevant PSNI checks can be carried out. Please reply by Friday 5th May.

This is an excellent opportunity for year 13 and year 14 second level students and current university students to gain valuable work experience for university/employment application.

 

 

Child Protection Course

We had eleven Ballyhegan members complete the child protection course held in the club on Thursday night.

Some were renewing their certificates and some were completing it for the first time.

Annual Parish Meeting

Tuesday 1 May at 8.00 pm in Sacristy annex St Patrick's Church Stonebridge. Any Parishioner aged over 16 years may attend.

 

 

Belfast Marathon Relay

Jarlath McCann our esteemed club member, player & assistant secretary, is running a relay leg of the Belfast Marathon on Monday 7th May with a team from work to raise money for The Alzheimer’s Society. We wish his team all the best, and for those wishing to donate to the very worthy cause they can do so via his Just Giving website:

Zumba Dance Class

Don’t forget about the Zumba! - Monday Nights 8.30pm – 9.30pm.

Spring Cleaning?

A clothing bank now resides in the club car park. This is a new initiative to raise cash for our club, so we’d like to urge our members & local community to deposit any unwanted clothes and textiles. The items will then be exported across Europe and Africa. By doing so the club will get a donation for every bag of clothes recycled.

Thank-you in advance for your help and support.

·         Bags, Shoes, Hats & Belts

·         Towels, Curtains & Bed Linen

 

 

Seat for Life

To help finance the development of the Athletic Grounds, a scheme whereby the general public can buy a “Seat For Life” has been launched. The bonus for our club is that we will receive £25 from each seat sold. For more information see the MyArmagh website:
