The next installment of the Ballyhegan Davitt’s Lotto is now upon us. In the coming days letters will be posted out informing the lotto patrons of their designated collector and their current numbers. The committee would like to urge our club members to continue to support our club lotto. It is the lifeblood of our club - providing the much needed finance to fund our teams both male & female at all ages & of course the club-house which is used for other community events. The club is always looking for new Lotto contributors, whilst maintaining our current core membership. If you are able to persuade a friend, or family member to join the lotto, please do! Thank you!

Armaghabilia

The Armagh County Board PR/IT committee is currently developing a new concept for the county and possibly a first for the GAA. The idea is to ask supporters to bring items of historical importance to the GAA in Armagh for display as part of Culture night on 21 September a 9.30 p.m. Individuals will be photographed with their items and have them documented so that a similar display can be mounted for various events in the county in the future. Our initial research indicates that there is enthusiasm for this project and we envisage items that date back to the foundation of the organization coming to the surface for the first time in years. This display will be made available to the public on Saturday 22 September between 12 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.

We appeal for each club to appoint a volunteer to work in conjunction with the PR committee so that Armaghabilia becomes a great success.  Armaghabilia will further make the work of the GAA in Armagh known to the wider public and allow the GAA to play their part in Culture Night; an event which is growing each year.

Fund Raising

Help Ballyhegan Davitts to raise money whenever you shop online:

It's very simple - just visit http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/ballyhegandavitts  to register and shop with over 2000 well known retailers like Amazon, Argos, M&S, eBay and many more. Whenever you buy something, the retailer makes a donation to Ballyhegan Davitts.

It won't cost you a penny extra to shop through easyfundraising and you can even save money with special offers and voucher codes.

Clothes Bank

A clothing bank now resides in the club car park. This is a new initiative to raise cash for our club, so we’d like to urge our members & local community to deposit any unwanted clothes and textiles. The items will then be exported across Europe and Africa. By doing so the club will get a donation for every bag of clothes recycled.

Thank-you in advance for your help and support.
