Armagh v Down (Ulster Championship 1st Round)

Those who have requested tickets for the Ulster Championship 1st Round - Armagh v Down must collect in the club rooms this Friday night (20th), following the Senior game v Annaghmore.

Walk The Line:

DVDs are available from the Walk The Line fashion show — costing £5. Please contact any of the organisers.


St Oliver Plunkett’s PS:

A ‘Fun Day’ has been organised for Sunday May 22nd from 2pm to 6pm, at Ballyhegan Park.

All proceeds in aid of St Oliver Plunkett’s PS. There will be a variety of activities for that day including....

Bouncy Castles, a Magician, Balloon Modelling, Treasure Hunt, Penalty Kick’s, Name the Teddy-Doll Admission £10 per family, £3 per adult, £2 per child.

Friends of the Cancer Centre:

Friends of Ballyhegan raised £300 for this charity. Good luck to Gerry on his track along 'El camino de Santiago de Compostela'. Donations can also be made via the just giving web site here:


Trip to Westport, Co. Mayo:

Following on from the very enjoyable trip to Foxford, Co. Mayo a few years back, challenge matches for our Senior Ladies & Men have been arranged for Saturday 27th / Sunday 28th August in Westport. A bus will be leaving the Club Rooms at 9am on Saturday morning and coming back at about 10pm Sunday night - Monday 29th August is a bank holiday. Cost of the trip is not yet known but will update later. However, Hotel arrangements etc have to be made now. Put the dates in your diary & confirm with any committee member as soon as possible of your intention to go.


Club Gear:

The GAA Store are now stocking the club jersey along with a full range of leisurewear which includes soft shell jacket, hooded top, shorts & socks. These are available in store and online at the link below:


Seat For Life:

To help finance the development of the Athletic Grounds, a scheme whereby the general public can buy a “Seat For Life” has been launched. The bonus for our club, is that we will receive £25 from each seat sold. For more information see the MyArmagh website:
