Charity Runs

Congratulations to Senior Footballer and Assistant Secretary Jarlath McCann, who managed to raise £355 for Alzheimer’s Society by doing the Marathon relay. He’d like to thank everyone for their support and sponsorship.

In total his team managed to raise £896! A great effort!

Also Senior Ladies Player & Youth Officer Catherine McCormack successfully completed the Dublin Ladies Mini Marathon last Monday. She is raising money for Public Initiative for the Prevention of Suicide and Self Harm (PIPS) and would be grateful for any sponsorship for this very worthy cause.

PIPS Newry and Mourne offers the community a targeted response to suicide and self harm and is the leading suicide prevention charity in the area.

If anyone would like to contribute Catherine can be contacted on 07834413901.

Fund Raising

Help Ballyhegan Davitts to raise money whenever you shop online:

It's very simple - just visit http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/ballyhegandavitts  to register and shop with over 2000 well known retailers like Amazon, Argos, M&S, eBay and many more. Whenever you buy something, the retailer makes a donation to Ballyhegan Davitts.

It won't cost you a penny extra to shop through easyfundraising and you can even save money with special offers and voucher codes.

Referees

If there is anyone interested in representing the club refereeing GO games (U12s), please get in touch. Training is provided! This opportunity is open to everyone, young (good for your CV) and old, male & female!

Zumba Dance Class

Don’t forget about the Zumba! - Monday Nights 8.30pm – 9.30pm.

“It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health.”

For further Information contact Orla McKeever (07725897908) she’ll tell you it is great fun!

Clothes Bank

A clothing bank now resides in the club car park. This is a new initiative to raise cash for our club, so we’d like to urge our members & local community to deposit any unwanted clothes and textiles. The items will then be exported across Europe and Africa. By doing so the club will get a donation for every bag of clothes recycled.

Thank-you in advance for your help and support.

ACCEPTED ITEMS INCLUDE:

·         All types of Clothing (Adult, Children & Baby)

·         Bags, Shoes, Hats & Belts

·         Towels, Curtains & Bed Linen

Seat for Life

To help finance the development of the Athletic Grounds, a scheme whereby the general public can buy a “Seat For Life” has been launched. The bonus for our club is that we will receive £25 from each seat sold. For more information see the MyArmagh website:
