Please fill in the order form (Ballyhegan Order Sheet.xlsx) available from here: and return the order with payment to any committee member or coach.

We are hoping to run a fitting night at the club rooms in the near future, if you are unsure of sizing until then please let your coach know, this can be updated before the order is processed, after the fitting night.

There seems to be big demand for the backpacks - they will be ordered as a priority to ensure arrival for school term.

PS. Christmas is just around the corner! :-)

Congratulations to the senior ladies who defeated Granemore in the Intermediate Championship at the weekend, and now to progress to face Crossmaglen, next Wednesday August 15th, throw-In 7.30pm - Venue TBC.

Croke Park Trip

A group of 65 kids and 17 adults from the club made the trip to Croke Park last Sunday to watch the AI Quarter Final Double header: Cork v Kildare & Donegal v Kerry. The Davitts group were treated to a football extravaganza and have been noted as a credit to our club. Credit to Youth Officer Paul Doherty for his precision planning in sorting tickets, coach travel & food, ensuring everyone had a super day out! There is now hope that this will become an annual club trip. Photographs from the day will be on the website next week (hopefully!).

If there is anyone interested in representing the club refereeing GO games (U12s), please get in touch. Training is provided! This opportunity is open to everyone, young (good for your CV) and old, male & female!

Mizen Head to Malin Head!

Club members (and players of sorts!) past & present - Shane & Dermot O'Hanlon, Adrian Woolsey, Paul & John McGrane (The Street) and Johnnie Quinn  are undertaking a cycle from Mizen Head to Malin Head this summer in aid of good causes.  Over 4 Days in August 12 novice cyclists will complete the 400 mile journey the length of Ireland in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care, Tiny Life and The Michela Foundation.  A big effort has been made by all the inexperienced cyclists to prepare themselves for this huge challenge and your support would be very much appreciated.

Should anyone wish to donate to these great causes please log on to  or text the code MTMC 88 and the amount you wish to donate to 70070.

Clothes Bank

A clothing bank now resides in the club car park. This is a new initiative to raise cash for our club, so we’d like to urge our members & local community to deposit any unwanted clothes and textiles. The items will then be exported across Europe and Africa. By doing so the club will get a donation for every bag of clothes recycled.

Thank-you in advance for your help and support.
