Easy Fund Raising

** UPDATE – Just to prove this works… Funds raised so far £14.29 **

If you sign up to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/ballyhegandavitts/ and register your interest to subscribe to Ballyhegan Davitts, then you can raise money for the club without even leaving the house.
Already 17 club members, including most of our committee have signed up and others have promised to do so. It may not amount to a huge amount of money but every little helps and we would appreciate if our members would sign up for it.

Secondly, please make http://ballyhegandavitts.easysearch.org.uk/ your home page and use it as your default search engine, rather then google!

Kettlebells – Tuesday 7pm (1hr) £4
Kettlebells blast - Friday 6.30pm (45mins) £3
Kettlebell workouts tend to be full body workouts, which means a greater degree of muscle mass is used translating to greater training effect, more calories burned and better bang for your buck! Quite simply, a kettlebell workout has to be experienced to be appreciated! The beauty of kettlebell training is that it teaches the body how to function as a complete unit, optimising co-ordination, balance and power while seriously working the core muscles. In this day and age of long hours being sat down in the office, or on the road, kettlebells are THE way forward for getting back to tip top shape and seeing off those twinges and niggles while delivering unsurpassed workouts. (All levels welcome)

Functional Training – Sunday 11am (1hr) £4
Functional training is a classification of exercise which involves training the body for the activities performed in daily life. Functional training attempts to adapt or develop exercises which allow individuals to perform the activities of daily life more easily and without injuries. Functional training may lead to better muscular balance and joint stability, possibly decreasing the number of injuries sustained in an individual's performance in a sport. Uses everyday equipment for use. (All levels welcome)
