Ballyhegan formally welcomes Jack Wilson

posted 20 Jun 2011, 02:50 by Shaun-Marty Lawless

As it should be the ultimate goal for every one of our young players, to make our senior teams, the committee decided this year to reward those players who make their full senior competitive debuts for our club.

As token of their achievement, a framed certificate marking the date & match will be presented at a home match later in the season. (Unfortunately we cannot back date the memento's... even though there are many deserving of such an award!)

Jack Wilson is the first recipient after making his debut v St Peter's Lurgan in the opening league match of the 2011 season. Jack received his award following the return St Peter's match in Ballyhegan last Thursday night, from club chairperson Charlie McKeever.

Charlie remarked that Jack is a super young prospect, a good player & trainer, a big hit with the both senior male & female panels, and a super asset to our club.

Congratulations Jack & welcome to Ballyhegan!

Davitts Abú!
